What is Fluconazole?
Fluconazole is a fluorotriazole broad-spectrum antifungal drug. Its antibacterial spectrum is similar to that of ketoconazole. It is a long-acting, effective antifungal drug for deep infections. It is mainly used for candidiasis and cryptococcosis. It is also effective for oropharyngeal candidiasis in cancer patients.
